How to download an Instagram video, step by step
- Open the post, Reel or Story in the Instagram app or browser.
- Tap "Share" (the paper plane icon or three dots) → "Copy Link".
- Come back to ClipSave and paste the link into the field at the top — the "Paste" button grabs it from the clipboard in one tap.
- Press "Download". The file lands in your downloads (on iPhone — in Files or Photos).

Downloading without a watermark
Many downloaders re-encode the video and stamp their own logo or the author's username on top. ClipSave works differently: we take the source file Instagram serves to its own player. It carries no overlays — you get exactly the video the author uploaded, with no quality loss.
How to download Instagram videos on iPhone
On iPhone the download works through Safari: open clipsave.pro, paste the link and press "Download" — the file goes to Files → Downloads, from where you can save it to Photos. If you use Telegram, the bot is even more convenient than the website: no browser, no copy-pasting back and forth. Just forward a post to the bot — it replies with a ready video file. Why a video won't download
- Private account. Content from private profiles is unavailable — that's Instagram's own restriction.
- The Story expired. Stories live for 24 hours; after that only ones saved to Highlights can be downloaded.
- Broken link. Make sure you copied a link to a specific post (instagram.com/reel/… or instagram.com/p/…), not to a profile.
